The Latham Family
The Latham family animal is the mountain goat.
The Lathams live in the snowy far North region of hills and mountains.  Their castle is located high on a peak on one of the mountains of the Cleregrey.  They care not for the warm airs in the Southern lands, and all they want is that anything above the Cleregrey Mountains to be ruled only by them.  Yet, the first high king denied this request, causing a resentment towards the Yate family, but they never took any action.  The family is usually pale, and are known for the beauty of both the women and men of the family.
They are usually reserved, thoughtful, and very strategic, but they also have a silly nature about them.  Frequently they will pay visits to the Eyre family, their close friends from the beginning and secretly help defend the Northwode from the Elynbrigges.  This family is built around honor and trust, they only wish to achieve greatness in their traditions, not by power.
